What you get

Your TSM data, imported and reconciled, in a student information system built for colleges.

One student record from application to transcript, a fixed-price migration that imports your TSM data, and a supplier you can actually talk to. Your current system stays the source of truth until cutover, and we prove the numbers before anyone switches off the old login.

Why colleges look at a move

Why colleges look at a move.

We have integrated with TSM for years through its APIs, so we know what it holds and how colleges use it. The reasons a college starts looking elsewhere are usually practical rather than dramatic.

  • 01

    Platform transition

A platform transition or end-of-life on the horizon, with a re-implementation cost that invites the question of whether to re-implement at all.

  • 02

    Fit

Fee, instalment, sponsor and QQI or Ofqual processes handled in spreadsheets beside the system.

  • 03

    Reporting

Reporting that needs an export and a developer rather than a question asked in plain English.

  • 04

    Integration

Moodle, CRM, timetabling and finance each holding their own copy of the student, with staff re-keying between them.

  • 05

    Support

A support model built for large institutions, when you need a named engineer who knows your set-up.

  • 06

    AI

Wanting AI that works on the live student record without student data leaving the platform.

Is Innealla the right move?

Who it suits, and when it may not.

It is not the right move for everyone, and we will say so at discovery.

It usually suits

A college of a few hundred to several thousand students, with programmes under QQI, Ofqual or a partner university.

Colleges that want a system built for how they work, rather than adapted to it, with Moodle and CRM connected from day one.

  • Private and professional colleges in Ireland and the UK facing a TSM transition or renewal
  • Institutions whose fee, instalment and sponsor processes live in spreadsheets beside the SIS
  • Colleges already on Moodle or Salesforce that want the student record connected properly
  • Groups with several schools or brands that want one platform with a separate instance for each
When it may not

We would rather tell you at discovery than at cutover.

It is not the right move for everyone, and we will say so at discovery. Complex multi-campus estates take longer than the usual two months, and discovery sets that date before you commit.

If your data cannot move cleanly, the grading shows it table by table, with a clear list of what will migrate cleanly and what needs a decision.

How the move works

A known shape of project, not a leap into the dark.

Most colleges are live in under two months, including a parallel run. The migration itself takes days; your intakes and your sign-off set the calendar.

12 weeks

Discovery

We take a full export, grade every table from A to G, and give you a fixed price for the migration and a go-live date.

  • Export assessment
  • Data graded A to G, table by table
  • Clear list of what migrates cleanly and what needs a decision
  • Fixed price and go-live window before you commit
2Days

AI-assisted migration

Students, programmes, modules, enrolments, results and fees mapped and cleansed in days.

  • Every transformation logged
  • Your data office can audit each step
  • Historic records and transcripts kept
3Agreed period

Parallel run

Innealla and your current system side by side, with reconciliation reports your registry and finance teams can check.

  • Reconciliation on students, enrolments and fees
  • Rollback plan written before the parallel run starts
  • Staff trained as part of set-up
4Go-live

Cutover

Timed to your academic calendar, usually between intakes, with a rollback plan agreed in writing.

  • Moodle, CRM, finance and identity reconnected on day one
  • Old login switched off only once the numbers match

Your current system stays the source of truth until cutover. We prove the numbers before anyone switches off the old login, and if something does not match, the written rollback plan says exactly what happens next.

What carries over

Your history comes with you.

Everything a registry relies on has a home in Innealla, and discovery tells you exactly how clean yours is before it moves.

Historic records and transcripts

Historic enrolments, results and awards come across, so transcripts can be produced from Innealla for past students.

Documents

Where the old system holds documents, we migrate them to the student’s record or keep a read-only archive, whichever you prefer.

Integrations rebuilt within the fixed price

Our Moodle plugin, the Salesforce managed app or Zoho connector, and GL and payment exports to your finance system are rebuilt on the Integration Hub as part of the fixed price. Anything bespoke is scoped at discovery.

Pricing

A small college pays a small college’s price.

Innealla is a hosted subscription banded by student numbers. At discovery we put the figures beside your current licence, hosting and support costs, so the comparison is on paper, not in a sales pitch.

Moving from TSM or Thesis

How the move works.

Because we already read TSM data through its APIs for integration work, the extraction side of a migration is well trodden. The discovery tells you how clean your data is and fixes the price before you commit to anything.

  • 01Two-week discovery: a full extract via the TSM APIs or database, every table graded from A to G, a fixed price and a go-live date
  • 02AI-assisted migration of students, applicants, programmes, modules, enrolments, results, awards and fee history, with every transformation logged
  • 03Parallel run with reconciliation reports on students, enrolments and fees before cutover
  • 04Cutover timed between intakes, with a written rollback plan
  • 05Moodle, Salesforce or Zoho, finance and timetabling reconnected through the Integration Hub on day one
The AI brain

An AI brain, on your terms.

Innealla is built with AI running through it, not bolted on. Staff ask it questions and tell it to do things in plain English, and it works against the live student record within the permissions that person already has.

  • Early alerts on students at risk, drawn from attendance, grades and fees together
  • Runs on a model hosted by Inneall in Ireland, so your student data never leaves our platform and there is no per-token bill from a third party
  • Optionally bring your own OpenAI or Anthropic keys for the tasks or hours you choose, so you control the cost model
  • Every request and every action is logged against the person who made it
How we approach AI for colleges →
Integration Hub

Every connector reconnected, on day one.

Innealla owns the student record and the Integration Hub connects it to everything else a college runs. Enrolments, courses and CRM applications are reconnected as part of cutover, not as a later project. We build connectors for a living, so if one is missing we add it.

  • Moodle

Our plugin provisions courses, cohorts and enrolments from the curriculum and keeps grades and announcements in step

  • Salesforce

A managed app we built, so applications and cases flow into the student record without re-keying

  • Zoho

The same, for colleges on Zoho CRM

  • Finance

GL journal export to your accounts system, payment providers, sponsor billing

  • CAO, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace

    Plus email and SMS

  • Timetabling

In the core; an existing Celcat export imports for cutover

FAQ

Questions about moving.

Something else? Talk to us about your system.

Can you import our TSM data?

Yes. We have worked with the TSM APIs for integration projects for years, so extraction is a known process. Students, applicants, programmes, modules, enrolments, results, awards and fee history all map into Innealla, and the discovery grades each table before anything moves.

How long does a TSM to Innealla migration take?

Most colleges are live in under two months from the start of discovery, including a parallel run. The migration itself is AI-assisted and measured in days; the calendar is set by your intakes and your sign-off.

Will historic records and transcripts survive the move?

Yes. Historic enrolments, results and awards come across so transcripts for past students can be produced from Innealla. Documents are migrated to the student’s record or kept in a read-only archive, whichever you prefer.

We are a UK college. Does Innealla handle UK processes?

Yes. Innealla is built for colleges in Ireland and the UK: awarding-body and partner-university programme structures, progression and classification rules configured without code, and finance that handles instalment plans, sponsors and holds. Hosting is in AWS Ireland under a data processing agreement; talk to us about data residency requirements at discovery.

What happens to our existing integrations?

They are rebuilt on the Integration Hub as part of the fixed price: our Moodle plugin, the Salesforce managed app or Zoho connector, and GL and payment exports to your finance system. Anything bespoke is scoped at discovery.

What is the first step?

A fixed-price Innealla Discovery. You get a graded assessment of your data, a migration price and a go-live window before anything is committed.

Why colleges leave Unit4 / TSM

Same system whether your team says Unit4, TSM or Thesis. The usual trigger is practical: renewal cost, spreadsheet workarounds, or integrations that never quite settled.

  • A renewal or major upgrade that feels like re-implementing the SIS from scratch
  • Fee, instalment, sponsor and QQI or Ofqual processes still living in spreadsheets beside the record
  • Reporting that needs an export and a developer rather than a plain-English question
  • Moodle, CRM, timetabling and finance each holding their own copy of the student

How the move works

We have read Unit4 / TSM data through its APIs on integration work for years, so extraction is familiar. Discovery grades every table and locks the price before you commit.

Staff query students and fees in Innealla after cutover. How we run AI on college systems.

Is Innealla the right move for you?

It usually is when the college has a few hundred to several thousand students, runs programmes under QQI, Ofqual or a partner university, and wants a system shaped around how it actually works. We will say so if it is not.

  • Private and professional colleges still on Unit4 Student Management / TSM, including those mid Thesis transition talks

Unit4 / TSM migration questions

Can you import our Unit4 / TSM data?
Yes. We have used those APIs on integration work for years. Students, applicants, programmes, modules, enrolments, results, awards and fee history map into Innealla; discovery grades each table first.
Is this the same as the TSM / Thesis page?
Yes. Same product, different names people still search for. TSM or Thesis to Innealla is the same migration path.
How long does a Unit4 to Innealla migration take?
Most colleges are live in under two months from discovery, including a parallel run. The calendar follows your intakes and sign-off.
Will historic records and transcripts survive?
Yes. Historic enrolments, results and awards come across so transcripts for past students can be produced from Innealla.
