  • Security patching and Moodle upgrades on a published schedule, tested on your staging site first
  • Daily backups and a restore procedure agreed with you
  • A monthly support allowance, a named service desk and an agreed service level
  • Integrations with your student records (including Innealla), timetable, authentication and reporting
  • Academic-year rollover handled with you, every year
  • An AI assistant that can use Moodle, safely

Three ways to run it

The same service, priced to fit how your platform is hosted.

  • Inneall-hosted: infrastructure, management and support allowance in one monthly charge
  • Your AWS account: a fixed monthly retainer by environment and service hours
  • Your Azure or other cloud: the same retainer, on that platform's controls
  • Migration between any of these as a fixed-price project

Who it is for

Colleges and training providers that run Moodle and would rather not run the servers.

  • Private and professional colleges
  • Health and public-sector training organisations
  • Multi-tenant estates serving several schools or brands
  • Institutions moving off a departing supplier or an in-house server

We love API environments
and the challenge of integration

We’ve integrated systems others refused to touch!

“Inneall’s impact on our ability to deliver reliable, scalable technology has been absolutely enormous. What sets them apart is their deep knowledge of our business, they understand our systems, our teams, and our priorities. That means we’re not dealing with a technology supplier; we’re working with a partner who genuinely cares about getting it right.”

Edward Ormonde

Head of IT, Dublin Business School

Frequently Asked Questions

What does managed Moodle hosting from Inneall include?
Hosting on AWS in Ireland sized for your enrolment peaks, security patching and Moodle upgrades on a published schedule tested on staging first, daily backups with an agreed restore procedure, a monthly support allowance with a named service desk and service level, and the academic-year rollover handled with you every year.
Can you host Moodle in our own AWS or Azure account?
Yes. We run Moodle on our own infrastructure, inside your AWS account, or on Azure and other clouds, with a fixed monthly retainer by environment and service hours. Moving between any of these is a fixed-price project.
How do you handle Moodle upgrades?
Each upgrade is applied to your staging site first, checked against your plugins, theme and integrations, and only then scheduled for production at a time agreed with you, usually outside teaching hours. Security patches follow the Moodle release cycle, and we keep PHP and database versions within supported ranges.
Does Moodle connect to our student information system?
Yes. Our Moodle plugin provisions courses, cohorts and enrolments from the curriculum in Innealla, our own student information system, and we integrate Moodle with other student record systems, timetabling, attendance, authentication and payments through the same Integration Hub.
What is the Moodle Health Check?
A fixed-price, two-week review of your Moodle platform covering security, versions and plugins, performance, backups and hosting, accessibility, integrations and authentication, with a short report written for IT management and a recommended upgrade path. It is the usual first step before any hosting or support agreement.
